INPUT was founded in 2003 by Rene Maas and Kees Elands.
INPUT works with a professional team at our office in Utrecht and a large international network of specialists.
 
Short background of the founders:
 
Rene Maas / Managing Director
In the mid-nineties Rene (1965) was the pioneer of guerilla marketing at Nike Europe. He became head of marketing communication at Audi and then brand director at Lowe. Thanks to his extensive experience on the client side, Rene is an expert in seeing the clients’ point of view.
 
Kees Elands / Creative Director
After finishing art academy, Kees (1976) started working as a freelance art director & strategist for various brands. At INPUT Kees combines creativity and strategy. He also works as trend researcher since 2001 and is currently a member of Science of the Time (Carl Rohde) Top 15 worldwide trendwatchers.

Trend research

TrendsActive is a sister company of INPUT and was founded in 2006. TrendsActive is a trend interpretation agency with an unique methodology. TrendsActive transforms abstract socio-cultural trend research into practical and creative business capital for various international clients.
 
This year TrendsActive won the prestigious 'TREND WATCHER OF THE YEAR’ (TWOTY) award for best Trend Implementation Agency.
